Her SS21 collection launched at the recent Paris Fashion Week using TrueTwins digital passport to support the brands renewed focus on sustainability and moving towards a zero-waste business model.
Here Cecilie Bahnsen launched a collection concept named Encore with monthly drops of limited upcycled pieces to give a second life to ‘deadstock’ – though deadstock hardly does justice to the intricate couture-like workmanship of her fabrics.
“The Essentials collection will bring in key pieces that have been precious to me from the beginning. These are all silhouettes that show the Cecilie Bahnsen identity and are core to who we are. It’ll always be the same styles and they’ll never go on sale. We really wanted to tell the story about how they are made as well, via QR codes powered by TrueTwins — you will be able to see where the fabric comes from and where the pieces are manufactured.”
